CHARACTER TEMPLATE
When entering a wolf into the Lost Lands or into someones pack, it's always required to have a profile filled out to the best of your ability. Whether you add anything to that profile is entirely up to you. The reasoning behind this is because it gives people more of a description, say, if that wolf is larger then this wolf, or of colors in coat or eyes.
You are not required to have your profile approved by anyone. You may start roleplaying as soon as you have a profile up. Keep your profiles on the threads in which they belong! Packs have specific areas for profiles, as does the Lost Lands. If you have any other questions regarding the profiles, feel free to ask them on this board or the General board. Since the Administration here at Requiem does not require you to post a role playing sample along with your profile, your literacy will be judged based on how well you fill out these stats. See the alpha profiles for good examples of what we expect from advanced, literate members.

FORMALITIES
Full Name: The calling bestowed upon your wolf at birth. Characters may have a first, middle, and last name, and although this is not required, it adds to interest.
Aliases: Any nicknames, titles, or self-given titles that have been heaped upon your wolf's visage throughout the years. Any calling that differs from the birth name.
Gender: Generally this field indicates strictly male or female, but there are certain, rare exceptions.
Age: Contrary to popular belief, canines do not age 7 times as fast as a human. A one-year-old wolf is the equivalent of a 15-year-old human. At six, a wolf is like a 45-year-old. Please be realistic. For more information, refer to this chart.
Breed: The species of your character. The majority of characters should be wolves. Hybrids are also accepted, and if your character has mixed blood, please indicate such here.
Alignment: Pure, neutral, or dark. Some characters may be undecided, but please indicate which end of the spectrum they generally deviate toward in their everyday actions.
THE BODY
Height: Usually measured in inches at the shoulder. Please be realistic.
Weight: Please be realistic. If the height does not correlate with the weight, you will be asked to modify your profile. See the canine information page for further details about height/weight among species.
Pelt: This includes the colors on the fur of your character as well as any patterns. Natural colors only.
Spheres: Eye color. You are allowed to have unusual colors.
Scars/Markings: Anything that marks the hide of your character and distinguishes him from all others.
Form: A minumum one-paragraph description of your character's appearance, including build, stance, facial structure, coat texture, physical strengths and weaknesses, and any other physical attributes you can think of.
THE MIND
General Temperment: A brief description of the basic personality of your character and how he reacts in everyday situations.
Positive Traits: No wolf is absolutely evil. List morals, values, and generally lauded charicteristics here. These are not physical traits.
Negative Traits: No wolf is flawless. List bad habits, skewed morals, and other generally immoral, harmful, or condemned attributes. There should be a fairly equal division of good and bad traits. These are not physical traits.
Fears: No wolf is without fear. What challenge is your character physically incapable of undertaking based on past experience? What haunts the darkest nightmares of your wolf? These can be physical or psychological fears, such as a fear of thunder compared to a fear of commitment.
Orientation: Heterosexuality, bisexuality, pansexuality, homosexuality, or even asexuality are all acceptable preferences for your character, though for the sake of perpetuating the species and creating genetic diversity, heterosexuality should be most common.
Beliefs: This goes beyond mere morals and should detail the spiritual beliefs of your character, including the dieties he worships, if any, and his thoughts on sinning, the afterlife, the religious views of others, the state of the world in general, faith, et cetera.
THE BLOOD
Sire: The father of your character. It is acceptable to simply put deceased or unknown, but please explain why.
Dame: The mother of your character. It is acceptable to simply put deceased or unknown, but please explain why.
Siblings: Names and statuses of brothers and sisters. These wolves may be littermates, younger or older siblings, or even very close comrades your character grew to consider siblings, such as warriors in the same batallion or childhood playmates.
Love Interest: Indicate here whether or not your character has taken a mate. If your character had a mate at one point but no longer, describe briefly what happened, such as a death or a split. If your wolf has never had a partner, explain if your character is attempting to court another, admires from afar, or simply has no interest.
Offspring: The names of any children your character has produced, if any. This can also include any adopted orphans your character has taken under his paw, or even godchildren.
Other: Any other family relations you feel are worthy of mention.
