Unsure of her surroundings, the dame gave into the dominant male's charm. Deep down, she feared two things: being alone, and making enemies. An ear flicked toward Belial's direction, and soon did her head. Her chest thundered anxiety. Drawing her head back, she replied. "It sounds interesting. I would like to go."
Then a thought lingered... Why did Belial reject the idea? Was it her? Had she be too young to accompany two brave males? A little whimper escaped her breath. Life didn't seem fair to Noir. Maybe this was what it was suppose to be? Tough... Thoughts and assumption held a guard to her throat. Perhaps she was leading into trouble? Pah! Of course not! She was in good hands! Paws... rather.
She thought of her mother... and then her father and family. Would they be proud of her? Would they be ashamed? Feelings like doubt, compassion, and curiosity were not at all new. Charmed... well. That was a term no pup would understand. Were she younger, it would have been easier for Jacome to corrupt, but this was Noir. Not all entirely pup, she was still young and naive. Her worl was already upside down. Would it morph into another side? Perhaps... dark?
"So... no one will get hurt - right?" She asked. What a foolish girl. Whether it was safe or not, Jacome could still lie. Unfortunately, she didn't seem to think of the consequences for anything like that. She would learn the long and hard way. Would she recover? Maybe...

Jacome Savaetta Jacome stared, his smirk tipping the corners of his jaws. Was it morbid that he found it entertaining to watch his siblings getting torn apart by a grizzly? He had lead his brother into the trap of the bear. The heir to Koel Herfst. Mikolaus deserved that had come to him. Purposely, he had allowed his brother to spot him in pack lands and in attempting to chase Jacome off the lands, Mikolaus had been lead into the path of a grizzly bear that Jacome had already irritated previously. Mikolaus was similar in cloak color and could easily be mistaken for the same wolf. Either way, it was another predator irritating its peace. Acoustics twitched forward as he watched the bear slam Mikolaus into a tree close by to him. Quickly, his brother had fallen unconscious, but his sister… Tehya… Why was she always arriving to help her siblings and her pack? Always, she came out of nowhere. It was like she had eyes everywhere… Ears… all over the land… A growl left his chest in his frustration.
Tehya was on the bear in a matter of seconds, distracting it from Mikolaus, protecting her brother. Jacome glared at her, hoping the bear wasn’t a stupid one. But as it slapped his sister around, he realized even Tehya didn’t have a chance against this grizzly. As it slammed her in the direction of the cliff, Jacome stood in his excitement at the moment and the blood that poured from her chest. The bear had sliced her open like a tuna, and Jacome’s heart beat faster as adrenaline was pumped through his veins. Then… In that brief moment before the bear loomed over her, she looked at Mikolaus, then in Jacome’s direction. She had spotted him. Damn. Her lips parted before the bear swung his paw in her direction and threw her off the cliff. All that remained after he heard the splash of her hitting the water rapids below, was her blood upon the ground at the cliffs edge. Mikolaus was rising, however. And the bear was thudding away, having finished beating the smaller predators. As Mikolaus rose, he glanced in Jacome’s direction, having clearly seen where his sister had looked. Jacome let his lips curve into a smile, knowing Mikolaus was too injured to chase after him, before he turned and loped off in the direction away from Koel Herfst. He’d failed in killing his brother, but with Tehya dead, he would not fail again. “JACOME! I’ll kill you!” His brothers words fell on ignorant auds.
Jacome’s lips curved upward, his gaze drifting towards Belial as he claimed the female would probably survive on her own. He nodded, his mind agreeing on that, but disagreeing on not allowing the fae to stick around. The brute stared at Belial for a moment, thinking on the males words, before he drawled, “I’m certainly sure she’s capable of taking care of herself.” As Belial suggested about family, packs and other whatnots that would have been nice to have had, his mood turned sour, lips curving back into a frown and spheres narrowing. His temper was short when it came to families, to other such trivialities. But the coy wolf rejected Belial’s ideas with a simple matter of it sounding interesting.
At her inquiry of someone getting hurt, Jacome tipped his crown slightly in curiosity. Ah, she was one of those innocents, was she? He let his smile take over again. “Trust me, love, nobody that doesn’t deserve it.” Before she could reply to that, he nodded in the direction behind Noir, quickly changing that subject from his sister being the one to get hurt, to the hunt he had originally suggested. “They are few and far between, but occasionally, deer will wander in from that end of the forest and they get lost in here all the time. Once they lose their herd, and wander in here, they generally lose themselves in the wood.” Acoustics pulled forward, nares flaring to take in the scent of the light breeze. It was eerie in this forest, but to him, it was completely comfortable. No packs to hunt him down here.
Spheres shifted in the direction he had nodded toward, before he gave each wolf a nod and leapt forward. His nostrils were leading his paws in the direction he always found a wandering deer. Perhaps they would pass the skeleton of the wolf that had previously died here. Jacome had passed its remains many a time and wondered what had happened to it. Had it come in here to die on its own, given up, starved to death or been attacked? No shadow came from his chassis, for no sun penetrated these lands. There was little to see in the dark, but he could sense the movement of the other two. As he came towards the wolf’s skeleton, he slowed to a stop momentarily. Whether it was consciously or not, he wondered how the other two would react. Particularly the young female. He glanced over his shoulder at them, gazing in their direction and pondering their thoughts for a brief moment.
Catching the scent of food, he quickly leapt forward again. This area was all too familiar to him. He’d wandered it endlessly for days when he had arrived, getting used to the lay of the land and mapping it in his mind. So many easily got lost in here and that was one thing Jacome was good at. Not getting lost. Plume wagged behind his frame and as he spotted the slow moving shadow of a young doe several yards away, Jacome halted in his tracks and quickly lowered himself. She could only have been a yearling, judging by the size of her. And she’d clearly gotten separated from her herd, for no herd stood about protecting her or alerting her of the impending danger. He liked the young ones. The naïve, the unwitting, the ignorant. Shifting his weight, he crouched and watches, waiting for the other two to appear at his side.

It was a shame.
The way the girl dove into trouble so willingly, without being able to see the shark infested waters for what they really were... Deadly. He found himself suddenly silent, eyes hard and breaking contact with the young girls. He wouldn't look at the nieve young victim, couldn't stare into the eyes of the moth drawn to the flame. But perhaps, before it was too late, he could put the flame out.
Talons dug into the soil, toes stretching and gripping the earth in a mild aggrivation at Jacomes remark. Luckily the shadows and the eerie yet convinient fog concealed the majority of his body. Tassel swished, the varg decided uncounsiously to focus on the hunt now and to leave complicated planning until he had more to work with. Until he figured out Jacomes next move.
Things just didn't get any simpler. At least for a moment he could allow instinct to take over completely, in order to feed his protesting stomach. He leaped after Jacomes lead, strong limbs carrying him with ease through the shadows and over the dense terrain. Mits thudded the first few steps, until he was loping silently along, all senses focused on the hunt.
It wasn't long before he noticed the bru infront come to a halt. The fog was thick, the air dense. Only a slight breeze could be felt here, and there was something different about the energy of this portion of the land... Ears flicked, nares flared to inhale the scents rising from the earth. Death.. mere tiny traces still lingered, old and stale but recognisable to one that knew the smell oh so well. Eyes caught the shadows bending over a nearby pile of bones, the remains of one of their own kind. Belial stared for a moment. His expression remained unchanged... Growing up with so much death and violence surrounding him , seeing a pile of bones was no surprise. He hardly had thought to spare to curiosity, maybe a year ago, but surely not now.. Too much had happened, and too much was still happening. He wasn't about to waste ponderings on.. something long gone.
Belial moved out once more, as soon as Jacome went back to the hunt. A mild scent was wafting near. It wasn't long until they stopped yet again, the smells of the forest quickly changing. This scent was of a doe, drifting in heavily through the trees.. She was nearby. Only seconds later did he see her through the shadows, looking lost and confused. She seemed to shiver, her eyes wide and frightful. It must be terrifying to get lost in a forest like this one. For a moment he was almost sympathetic, yet the feeling was in no way going to stop him from making a kill. He was hungry, the doe was a good meal.
Eyes shifted to glance at Jacome briefly, as he too lowered himself to the ground. He waited now impatiently, for the coywolf to appear and ready herself. He had no doubt himself and Jacome alone could run the doe down. In this dense forest, with the darkness and the fog, they had a clear advantage. Yet he still waited. This was Jacomes find, he would let Jacome make the call... He might as well stay on the brutes good side, for now.
